> Iran and Oman have reportedly reached an understanding on the main outlines of a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The proposed arrangement would reopen the strategic waterway for 60 days. Saudi-based Al Hadath and Al Arabiya cited high-ranking sources in reporting the development. The reports described the understanding as covering the framework of an agreement rather than a completed final deal.
