> On August 3, a Ukrainian drone fell and exploded on a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka, a village within Gelendzhik. People were still on the sand and in the water when the attack occurred, and no evacuation took place. Seven people died, including four children, while 40 others were injured. Residents and tourists said they heard no sirens, despite the village having a warning system. Three days later, little information was available about those killed and wounded. Meduza reports on the victims.
