# ICAC inquiry hears texts suggesting Angus Taylor paid or refused money to Reformers

> New South Wales’s anti-corruption watchdog has examined text messages concerning Angus Taylor and the hard-right factional group known as the Reformers. The lawyer assisting the inquiry said the messages appeared to suggest Taylor had paid money to the group or was refusing to do so. Taylor, the federal opposition leader, is not named in ICAC’s allegations. He has previously denied making payments to the Reformers. The inquiry also questioned Jean-Claude Perrottet, brother of a former NSW premier.
