> European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen proposed that the European Union further reinforce its borders. She also called for increased support for Morocco. The measures are intended to help prevent a repeat of last week’s chaotic influx of 50,000 migrants into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. Her proposal links stronger EU border controls with assistance for Morocco.
