> Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected the terms of a recent deal announced by US President Donald Trump concerning Hamas disarmament. In a social-media video, Netanyahu said Israeli forces would remain in their current positions in the Gaza Strip until Hamas is fully disarmed. His comments appear to conflict with provisions of an October ceasefire agreement. The statement raises questions about how the deal may proceed and what it could mean for the next stage.
