> Vladimir Tkachuk, founder of the private drone maker Uraldronzavod, was critically wounded when a bomb under his Mercedes exploded near Ekaterinburg. Russian state media, citing emergency services, said he was taken to intensive care on Wednesday. His bodyguard died in the blast. The incident appears to be the latest assassination attempt against people linked to Russia’s war in Ukraine. It is presented as evidence that Ukraine can continue clandestine operations deep inside Russian territory.
