> Turkey’s ruling alliance is expected to present a draft law to parliament on Wednesday, according to state media and a party leader. The measure would facilitate the disbandment of the Kurdistan Workers Party, or PKK. It would do so by permitting thousands of former militants to return. The initiative is intended to bring a decades-old conflict to an end.
