> U.S. Rep. Wesley Bell defeated former U.S. Rep. Cori Bush in a rematch of a Democratic primary. Bell’s victory on Tuesday is expected to put him on course for reelection in November. The contest took place in the heavily Democratic 1st Congressional District in St. Louis. The result strengthens Bell’s position for the general election.
