> Paraguay’s ousted president, Santiago Peña, has been charged in connection with Ueno Bank’s collapse. After initially being placed under house arrest, he was moved to a military facility for his safety. Nearly three million customers lost access to their accounts after regulators took control of the online bank. Repayments have begun, but protests continue as customers seek access to their money. Peña denies wrongdoing.
