> Heavy rain has inundated thousands of tents sheltering displaced Palestinians across Gaza, including in Deir al-Balah. Residents say overflowing sewage has mixed with floodwater, worsening already dire conditions. Families are trying to save belongings, build makeshift earth barriers and drain water by hand; many essential items have been soaked and ruined.
