> Civil defense teams are evacuating people from Gaza refugee camps after heavy rain flooded more than 70,000 tents, an authorities’ spokesperson said. The official reported casualties as some temporary structures collapsed, and said a lack of rescue equipment was hindering evacuations. Damage to camp infrastructure was put at $3 million, amid severe shortages of winterized tents, waterproof flooring, winter clothes and heaters.
