> UNHCR urges urgent action to protect refugees and forcibly displaced people increasingly exposed to climate change. Its report says nearly 90 million displaced people live in countries facing high to extreme climate hazards, while fragile and conflict-affected nations receive only about 10% of global climate finance. The agency calls for greater adaptation investment and for refugees to be included in national climate plans.
