> Some of Donald Trump’s advisers believe he has an eight-week window to launch a new large-scale operation against Iran, NBC News reports. They fear that after Democrats take control of both congressional chambers in January, escalation could trigger investigations and a resolution calling for hostilities to end. Pete Hegseth supports expanding the campaign, while other advisers warn it could undermine peace-deal efforts.
