> Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies charged five alleged criminal-group members on Nov. 5 over a network accused of protecting scam call centers, trafficking drugs and counterfeiting foreign currency. The agencies say the group was also involved in torture-for-hire, kidnappings and extorting millions of dollars. Two suspects were placed in pre-trial detention.
