> Washington revoked the visa of Brazil’s ambassador to the United States as a diplomatic standoff between the two countries intensified. US officials said the decision would be reversed if Brasília approves President Donald Trump’s ambassador nominee before Brazil’s closely watched presidential election. The move links the visa dispute to an unresolved diplomatic appointment. It adds pressure to already strained relations between Washington and Brasília.
