> The Arab-led Joint List alliance says it will recommend opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot to President Isaac Herzog as the candidate to form Israel’s next government. Arab-led parties won a record 19 seats in last week’s election; with the Joint List’s 11 lawmakers and other support, Eisenkot is expected to have 67 endorsements, above the 61-seat majority threshold.
