> Elon Musk gave at least $446m to Republican-aligned groups during the US midterms, backing candidates in several key Senate races. Democrats won all five races where his America PAC spent the most, including Texas, where James Talarico defeated Ken Paxton. The spending helped make several contests among the most expensive in US history, but yielded little political return for Musk.
