> Mourners in central Gaza held a mass funeral on Tuesday for 112 people killed in 2023, including 40 children. The victims died in what was described as one of the deadliest Israeli strikes of the Gaza war. Their remains were recovered from the ruins of a residential block more than two years after it was destroyed. Continuing Israeli attacks delayed the recovery; those strikes have eased since the October ceasefire but have not stopped.
