# Ukraine anti-graft agencies probe possible SBU role in high-profile case, report firearm threats during searches

> Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies said they exposed a criminal group accused of systematically bribing senior law enforcement officials for protection of scam call centers and other illegal businesses. During searches of SBU officials’ premises, NABU said a senior SBU official obstructed the operation and threatened to use a firearm. Ukrainska Pravda, citing unnamed sources, identified him as Major General Serhii Duka. The SBU has not commented.
