> Jon Ossoff won re-election to the Senate in Georgia, defeating Republican challenger Mike Collins. Ossoff framed his campaign as a referendum on alleged Trump administration misconduct, pointing to stock trades and business deals involving the president and his circle, along with the effects of the Iran war and Trump’s trade policies on Georgia voters’ finances. Collins’s campaign was badly marred by staff ties to white nationalists, neo-Nazis and far-right extremists.
