> Millions of Americans voted in midterms that will determine the makeup of Congress and other key offices, potentially shaping the final two years of Donald Trump’s presidency. Democrats were optimistic about retaking the House and possibly the Senate, but remained wary. The elections were widely viewed as a referendum on Trump’s second term, with voters concerned about living costs, fuel prices and the war with Iran.
