> Norway and several other European countries said they would refuse to play Russia at the 2027 Ice Hockey World Championship if the team returns. The Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned the International Ice Hockey Federation’s ban on Russian national teams, but the IIHF has yet to decide how to implement the ruling. Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Germany have also objected.
