> Fighting between Iran-backed Houthi forces and Yemen’s government has intensified around Taiz, where clashes, blocked deliveries and shortages are worsening conditions for civilians. Around 134,000 people have been displaced in Taiz governorate. Residents face shortages of food, water, fuel and medical supplies, while insecurity is also hampering aid work.
