> Renewed attacks on Black Sea shipping threaten grain exports, push food prices higher and worsen global food insecurity. On October 28, a Liberian-flagged freighter carrying more than 400 containers sank after drone strikes off Bulgaria; all 18 crew members were rescued. Recent attacks have left at least 30 sailors dead or missing, amid Russian and Ukrainian strikes on vessels in the region.
