> Iranian Army Chief of the General Staff Ali Abdollahi said that formally recognizing Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz is among the requirements for regional security. He also demanded full sanctions relief, the release of frozen assets, compensation for damage from military actions, guarantees against renewed aggression, and a Western Asian security system built by regional states themselves.
