> Americans vote on Tuesday in midterm elections, with Democrats widely expected to retake the House while control of the Senate remains uncertain. They need three House seats and four Senate seats to surpass Republicans. Losing either chamber would constrain President Donald Trump’s ability to pass legislation, and the results will serve as a referendum on his second term.
