> Andy Burnham will launch a “structured dialogue” at the Commonwealth summit in Antigua and Barbuda, asking countries affected by Britain’s role in the slave trade to help determine the form of an expected formal apology. Downing Street says their input is indispensable. The UK has ruled out reparations after an apology, while Burnham is also expected to outline debt restructuring plans.
