> The Board of Peace says Israel will not withdraw from Gaza unless Hamas first gives up its weapons. Benjamin Netanyahu met board director Maldenov as tensions surrounded a proposed roadmap for Gaza’s disarmament. The meeting also came after recent Israeli attacks, adding to the strain around the process. The statement places Hamas disarmament at the center of any discussion about an Israeli withdrawal.
