> Medics were allowed to take four sick people from the basement of a house in a village near Kiev where dozens were being held; one was in serious condition. Ukrainian media suggested those held could be men apprehended by territorial recruitment staff or soldiers who deserted, while police said the house contained National Guard servicemen.
