> Denmark has called up roughly 1,600 recruits as tensions around the world increase. Reuters, citing sources, says the measure was prompted in part by claims made by the US administration concerning Greenland. The report presents the Greenland-related claims as one factor behind the decision, alongside other considerations. No further details about the recruits or the timing of the call-up are provided.
