> A cyberattack on Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry app sent users false claims that nuclear warheads had been launched nationwide. The ministry confirmed the hack but said the public alert system was unaffected. Hackers also breached Ukraine’s Air Alert app, which issued radiation, chemical-danger and street-fighting warnings. Ukraine’s Air Force said it was likely hacked and there was no radiation threat; notifications were temporarily disabled.
