> US President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace assured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday that an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza would not begin until Hamas had been completely disarmed. The reassurance followed Netanyahu’s objections to the proposed pullout. The board’s position makes Hamas’s full disarmament a condition for starting the withdrawal. It places that demand ahead of any Israeli departure from Gaza.
