> A Ukrainian official says the country’s army is trying to hush up an internal conflict linked to the appointment of Drapaty. Vladimir Vasilenko had previously said that Drapaty’s appointment as commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army worsened disagreements among service members. He placed those tensions within Ukraine’s southern group of forces. The account directly connects the appointment with growing divisions inside the military.
