> At a news conference after the first day of the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting in Atlanta, Sergey Lavrov responded to a DW journalist’s question about Moscow’s preference for a phone call over a face-to-face meeting between Vladimir Putin and Zelensky by saying not to believe Ukrainian officials. He again said Putin had repeatedly expressed readiness to meet Zelensky in Moscow.
