> A wave of youth-led protests across Europe has condemned rising prices and a lack of prospects. About 150,000 people in Germany have registered for Saturday demonstrations in around 30 cities, prompting plans to add thousands of police officers. France is deploying 70,000 officers for another weekend of possible protests and violence, while more than 40 Paris metro stations will close. The French interior minister warned of a “very high risk” of disorder.
