The company says Qwen3.8-Max performs on a level comparable with leading systems from US frontier laboratories Anthropic and OpenAI. Alibaba also claims the model can rival the domestic competitor Moonshot AI’s Kimi K3. The company said Qwen3.8-Max would be made widely available to users.
