> Oleshky, occupied by Russia, lies only a few kilometres from Ukrainian-controlled Kherson, but proximity has not ensured life-saving help for civilians facing disrupted services and uncertain evacuation arrangements. A temporary ceasefire has opened a narrow window for humanitarian operations, while the agreement’s scope, evacuation prospects and prospects for sustained access remain unclear. About 2,000 civilians were reported to remain there.
