> A small boat placed two limpet mines on a tanker’s hull in the Strait of Hormuz, causing an engine-room fire and temporarily disabling the vessel, maritime sources said Friday. They described it as the first successful use of such explosives in the waterway since the U.S.-Iran war began in February.
