> Sudan is ready to make sites for developing gold, copper and other mineral deposits available to Russian investors, Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Some sites are prepared for exploitation. Sudan mined about 70 tons of gold in 2025, while gold export revenue reached $2.29 billion in the first nine months of 2026.
