> Tens of thousands of students and workers marched in cities across Italy, calling for more education funding and relief from rising living costs. The demonstrations followed weeks of school occupations and protests against higher military spending, with workers joining after a union called a general strike. Protesters criticized Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s right-wing government over low wages, fuel prices and military spending.
