> Cuba’s electricity grid failed late Sunday, according to the state-owned operator, leaving the island without power. The outage is described as the latest in a series of nationwide grid collapses. Those failures have followed the US energy embargo, which stopped regular fuel deliveries to power stations. The blackout again highlights the severe disruption facing Cuba’s electricity system.
