> A diplomatic source in Brussels told TASS that the European Commission’s role in EU discussions about possible talks with Russia is not to seek an outcome that could help end the conflict in Ukraine. The source said its aim is to keep negotiation attempts under its control and prevent divisions in Europe over confronting Russia and supporting Ukraine.
