> Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said Tehran remains in touch with mediators to advance its seven-day proposal for ending hostilities and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Qatar said exchanges with Iran and the United States were continuing. The proposal was sent to Washington through mediators, but the two countries failed to make sufficient progress toward a nuclear and sanctions agreement within the timeframe set by their memorandum of understanding.
