# World’s largest crypto exchange probes reports of possible hack

Its founder said it “does look like a hack on Binance”. Tether and Circle said they froze related funds; Circle cited more than $800m and Tether more than $1.5bn. Bitcoin fell 3.2% Thursday afternoon to below $79,000.
