> Mine-clearing has opened routes for an aid mission in Oleshky, Ukraine’s Kherson region. Russian and Ukrainian human rights commissioners say the convoy is ready to go to the central district hospital. Residents leaving have until 2 p.m. on October 30; aid distribution for those staying starts after 2:30 p.m. Russia and Ukraine halted fighting for the mission under a deal brokered by Melania Trump, with the truce set to last through late November 1.
