> Seven tankers carrying an estimated 288,000 tonnes of Russian diesel are sailing to the US as the first phase of a supply deal between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. Political disputes over the shipments’ legality have left it unclear whether they will be unloaded. US lawmakers and New Jersey’s governor have warned against handling the fuel or said they are looking at ways to prevent its unloading.
