> Moscow is prepared to respond to any challenge in the Baltic Sea but does not want tensions there to rise, Vladimir Putin said after the Russia-Africa summit. He said Baltic security was discussed in phone calls with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, adding that Russia does not want a situation like that in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf.
