> A UAE court sentenced eight people to life imprisonment for arms trafficking and money laundering linked to supplies for Sudan’s army. State media said they used UAE companies and bank accounts to conceal funds from arms deals, and will be deported after serving their sentences. The ruling comes amid strained UAE-Sudan ties over the war and the RSF.
