> More than 50,000 people entered the Spanish enclave of Ceuta this week, leaving many uncertain about what comes next. Youssef El Abbas said he saw a chance to recover the life he had lost after hearing that around 400 people had swum from Morocco to the enclave four days earlier. The 44-year-old father of four had been deported from Spain in 2019 after losing his job in Bilbao and allowing his residency to expire. Now, arrival has brought uncertainty rather than a clear new beginning.
