> Utah accused prediction market Kalshi and its two co-founders of illegally promoting online gambling. Attorney General Derek Brown filed charges Wednesday in a Salt Lake City district court, including 12 counts of online gambling promotion, one general gambling promotion count and one count of a pattern of unlawful activity. A federal judge had ruled that Utah could enforce its anti-gambling laws against prediction markets.
